POST 7 MY INDIGNATION

There is a well-known writer who said that to be against being consequent is to peoples that don’t have creativity, and in a certain way I think he is right. I said this because my indignation has relation with an opinion about the arts and their function but more specifically the function of the aesthetic studies. Probably I can change my opinion respect to it. My indignation obviously is not relevant, there are more serious things that indignant me but recently I have asked myself and I have reflected on this.

I remember I was in a class of a subject called “popular housing, what is it?” and the teacher invited another academic dedicated to aesthetic studies, that is when I came to many reflections, we should not surprise us that the most of housing are built by the population themselves without architects. By the other side through the course we had seen and wonder us about the population housing, and I found interesting the aesthetic aspect because don't have any relation with the housing solutions in the design process. the most people they make their own houses with the easiest materials to get and the issues is just the aesthetic of economic capacity, even the population decorate the houses inside according a mix between the imaginary and the few resources to get things. is interesting because while in the academy developpes theories about the aesthetic, in the real life they are not perceived as a contribution to the reality of most people.
